Definitely the best portrayal of time travel in any piece of media I have consumed. A German mind-bending thriller that will have you asking "wait what..." pretty much every episode. As soon as you feel like you have a good handle on the world Odar and Friese built for this show, they shatter it all right before your eyes, maintaining the shroud of mystery. The ending could have been executed a little better but no regrets, regardless. Highly bingeable. I definitely recommend giving this a watch.

This show is the product of a phenonomal story, a relatively solid script, and very average actors and actresses (sorry). The creators of The Magicians did an outstanding job building a world with deep lore backing unique and interesting fantasy themes, particularly magic. The visual art, the magic "system", the God lore—all solid. But wow, some line deliveries are legitamitely painful to listen to. As the show progressed, the actors got more comfortable and this happened less often. If you can appreciate a well thought-out fantasy world, this is a strong recommend.

A must watch (though most people have already). I have watched this series at least 4 times at this point, and every single time I walk away with about the same satisfaction as well as newfound easter eggs and previously unnoticed details. Often people say that the first ~1-2 seasons can be slow (but definitely not boring), so give Vince Gilligan some time to set the stage for arguably the best TV show ever produced. It certainly is the best, in my opinion.
