Likely one of the best albums I have had the pleasure of listening to. Palace blends newer alternative rock styles with classical & blues rock tones to create a unique but comfortable sound. This album has several songs that have landed in my most played over the years. An album I can never get tired of, no matter how much I listen to it. One downside—there are a one or two songs that may not be everyone's cup of tea. Regardless, a must listen.

A great read if you are especially interested in the philosophy of existence. In 'The Myth of Sisyphus', Camus attempts to rationalize human existence on the basis of the absurdity of existence itself. While it was a very interesting read, the classical nature of these essays paired with Camus French background made for a relatively difficult read. Besides that, Camus and I disagree on issues of morality & ethics. Regardless, a good read for philosophy lovers or those that have ever struggled with thoughts of suicide.

As far as games go, this may be one of the most, if not THE most, perfect game ever crafted. The developers at Rockstar hit unbelievable highs with this title. Mechanically, the game is fun and has many unique but refined features you wont find in other games, especially not at this level of quality. Visually, their graphical updates have made this game an absolute beauty. Most importantly, the story could make a grown man cry (it did). Absolutely phenomonal, through and through. Might seem a little slow in the middle, but hang on for the ride. You definitely will not regret it.

Sickeningly great. In this adaption of the novel by the same name, Darren Aronofsky demonstrates to us a very real horror—addiction. Aronofsky uses many tools, but particulary body horror, to create gut wrenching, sickeningly sobering scenes, contrasted by the relatively calm and ordinary beginning. I think therein lies the power of this movie—the deep contrast between beginning and end; the unexpected and severe progression the movie takes on (typical of Aronofsky). Not for the weak hearted, but if you think you can stomach it, this is a great watch (late at night, with the lights off).

I have been using the same pair of headphones for about 6 years now. These are those headphones. Besides changing out the pads every so often, these things have handled it all perfectly. I could not even begin to count the number of times these headphones fell on the ground in the most violent fashion possible and somehow every single time they were entirely unaffected. Sound is solid. Expect a massive soundstage & great mids + highs at the cost of deep bass. Great for games in which you may need to hear footsteps.

Definitely the best portrayal of time travel in any piece of media I have consumed. A German mind-bending thriller that will have you asking "wait what..." pretty much every episode. As soon as you feel like you have a good handle on the world Odar and Friese built for this show, they shatter it all right before your eyes, maintaining the shroud of mystery. The ending could have been executed a little better but no regrets, regardless. Highly bingeable. I definitely recommend giving this a watch.

This show is the product of a phenonomal story, a relatively solid script, and very average actors and actresses (sorry). The creators of The Magicians did an outstanding job building a world with deep lore backing unique and interesting fantasy themes, particularly magic. The visual art, the magic "system", the God lore—all solid. But wow, some line deliveries are legitamitely painful to listen to. As the show progressed, the actors got more comfortable and this happened less often. If you can appreciate a well thought-out fantasy world, this is a strong recommend.

A must watch (though most people have already). I have watched this series at least 4 times at this point, and every single time I walk away with about the same satisfaction as well as newfound easter eggs and previously unnoticed details. Often people say that the first ~1-2 seasons can be slow (but definitely not boring), so give Vince Gilligan some time to set the stage for arguably the best TV show ever produced. It certainly is the best, in my opinion.
